A neat thought from Pastor Nollie Malabuyo:
"The purpose of a Christian is not to "impact and help others" by being "blessed and victorious." Our ultimate purpose is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. Impacting and helping others is secondary, and we can do this without even being "blessed and victorious." The apostles were not blessed materially and victorious physically; they were actually poor, persecuted and martyred. But they turned the world upside down with the preaching of the gospel, not with preaching prosperity."
